| That's the spirit! (No pun intended). Just to clarify, I don't mean it's haunted. But it ain't what it used to be. It was big enough news a number of years back, so a little Googling should probably make this one a snap.

This is an interesting photo. Reminds me of an area in upper NY state. Near Cortland. But no ghost towns up there. Will check it out.

| It's a town. Nothing going on but what you see there. Some call it a ghost town.

flipflop, that has to be the prettiest picture of a cross that I've seen in a long time. Once I find out where it is, I plan to visit. Most of my pictures are of a sunrise or sunset and that is what really sets this picture apart from the "Ho Hum". By the way you guessers, my last photo contained the name of the place right in the attachment description. Ho Hum is a name of a RV park located in Appalouchicola, FL.
bigbear, have no idea what's going on or where it is going on at.

| Just to clarify, I did NOT take that photo. Don't want to take credit that's not due me. I was just searching for Farmer's cross and came upon it.

| No, neither, although I've been to both Lake Marion and Outer Banks and loved them but not as much as love this place. Farther south than the Carolinas.

| chs71, Don't I wish, this sunrise is a little farther south. Really do not expect anyone to guess as most sunrises & sunsets look the same, yet everyone is different. Like a snowflake or people for that matter. All made up of same elements yet all look different. I can not take credit for this picture, a friend sent it to me from a place I visited several years ago. When I was there, I made sure I was up before dawn to take a picture but never got one this beautiful.

No No chs71. I just happen to get a link for a church on Taylors Isld when i googled "Tall wooden cross, MD" Farmer's picture is not on Taylors Island. I don't know where it is. LOL, I don't either. Farmer, did you say whether it is on the eastern shore or across the bay?

| Keep looking, guys. Somebody asked for a stumper, I guess this is it. If somebody wants to start a new one, they should go ahead. But keep bumping this one in the meantime 'cause I know it's driving you crazy. You'll be surprized at the answer. But I'm not giving it!! Sorry!!
