No red herring. It's Iraq. It's a relatively infamous place.

| I know you said Bagdad, but maybe that was a throw off.......I am thinking the Dover Bridge coming into Caroline county.........the Dorchester Citizens against Growth watching out for Developers sneaking in to Dorchester from Talbot.

| The picture in question was taken at the crossroads on Hooper's Island. Yes, that is Calvert Cliffs off in the distance.

Farmer, I think you are on to something there. I was trying to figure out the building in the background. I sure could be Calvert Cliffs. So that picture, judging from the angle it must have been taken from Hooper's Island.

Based on the location of the setting sun and the Cal Cliffs power plant and the "protected" marsh seems like it would have to be Hoopers Island looking at Barren Island or possibly St Johns Creek looking at Meekins Neck just below Punch Island

From the other clues, etc, looks like a military operation. I was going to say Israel, but then, I think it is somewhere in Iraq.

| I am going to assume that they are soybeans in the field. The embankment is full of Canadian thistle which tends to suggest a more northerly area as that is a major problem on roadsides. The foot path suggests lots of foot traffic which means an area where many people do not ride also suggesting an area north i.e. Amish country. With the flat horizon, I am suggesting somewhere outside of Dover, to the west side where Amish live. It does remind though of rt. 17 south through the Great dismal swamp heading toward Elizabeth City but I have not seen the foot path so pronounced.
