| I don't know , I hope they all live after they are done but it seems a little late to be digging and transplanting large trees shuch as them. The oaks they will be getting from Western Maryland do leaf out alot later than Sweet Gums.

| Wow, such a great idea for those killed from Maryland. I hope to go someday and see those trees and what they represent. And to think, they are from Vienna. Sweet Gum trees are beautiful in the fall. I did think dicidious trees should be planted prior to leaf out yet they are going to hold them until after they have put out their leaves. Wonder why?

Actually, it looks like five trees. All planted at different times, because the heights vary. And planted in neat little rows. And cared for, obviously, because it looks like they have been mulched.
One planted every year on the anniversary of 9/11?
And I have no idea where the pic was taken. It could be anyones yard.

Thanks for the information Farmer, but I still can't make it happen. Does anyone else have any more info.
