Poncho, Not measly duck photo. I like it very much... the soft lighting and the soft colors that you achieved, are very pleasant to the eye.
Thanks for your generous comments about my hummer photo.

wetfoot, WOW is all I can say about that beauty. I've been trying to get a good shot of the hummer myself but it would never compare to yours. Been told a tripod is the thing to have for serious photography. Someday I hope to have one 'cause I just can not hold the camera still. Also, you are into this picture taking with a camera set up to get those photos seen on National Geographic channel. Keep sending us those great shots I'll upload my measly ducks now.Attachment: 100_2343.JPG (Downloaded 27 times)

Farmer, Kidding. I would not add a plastic pink Flamingo in any way shape or form except in Florida.

GOD BLESS AMERICA-
for our freedom.
itʼs amazing that this photo, taken so many years ago, is still around and
In pretty good shape!
Now someone has put it online for all of us to see. This INCREDIBLE picture
Was taken in 1918 -- 90 years ago..
These 18,000 men preparing for war in a training camp at Camp Dodge in Iowa
(near Des Moines) EIGHTEEN THOUSAND STRONG!
What a priceless gift from our grandfathers...

If you don't know him PK, you can get to know him at his regular rest stop...by the canal next to the vineyard. You know where I mean. Enjoy.
Yep. Everybody should slow down for a great Blue. May be a little slow on uptake but really magnificent on the flight. These guys are scenes from the dinosaurs ages.
When in flight they actually look like a goose flying back wards Take a picture of that. A goose flying back wards? I had the one flying over me yesterday. Stopped and watched.

I believe it's a Red Tail. Probably going after a field mouse or baby rabbit.

Venison Roast
3 lb Chunk of venison roast (or Roll it if its in steak Form)
2 c Onion - Cut up (2 in. Pieces)
2 c Potato - Cut up "
1 c Carrots - cut up "
1 c Fresh mushrooms - sliced
2 tb Liquid smoke
3 tb (or more) Worchestershire Sauce
3 tb (or more) Soy Sauce
1/2 c Beef broth
Put a LARGE oven cooking bag in an oblong baking pan (so that the bag fits inside the pan). To the bag, add the venison. Add all liquids, then veggies around the meat. Put the 'shrooms on top of everything else, then the spices on top of them. You want to have about 1 inch of liquid in the bottom of the bag, so if you need more, add a little water (or white wine!).
Seal bag. Poke several small holes in top of bag to let steam escape. Bake at 300-325 for 3-1/2 hours. (If you chop the veggies big, they won't overcook).
