Okay here is why I am hearing about this situation. My nephews boss was the one who called in the 911 call.

Two elderly guys went out in a aluminum skiff. As they were on their way out of the creek they ran into a beacon. Not sure how that can happen in broad daylight, but it did. The one guy had a black eye as said he was fine. The other guy had lots of blood on him and was in and out of it. The emergency personal responded and called the helicopter. Both were taken in the helicopter. I have no further info. on this.

Will be praying for these guys!

Thanks for the info.

God bless,
Pete

I think, not sure, Brookview-Eldorado was called on this. Some type of marina road -- will check map - near ragged pt rd.

Heard a bunch of  commotion outside a bit ago. Think is was Yak and a couple of his buddies spin casting off the county road into my front yard.

Were they floating on belly boats?

Not sure about the belly boats as we have some big snapping turtles down here that may love some of their belly parts.

If you were a sporting person though, I bet you could water ski the ditch around the island behind a car. Now that would be pretty wild to see.

Especially when they whack into that bent road sign just under the surface.
LOL. Reminds me that last spring, the County replaced all the 4x4 wood post signs with an 1.5 or 2 inch metal post for the same sign. They had 2 or 3 people on the project down here. They used a 4 or 6 inch augar to drill the holes then stuck the post in and really did not tamp it. After a couple days, the signs were all spun around depending on the wind as well as leaning crooked. Terrible job. I got our Council to look into it and with in a week it was fixed. No problems now other than some a**hole who deliberately ran over some a week ago, bending them down. When that happens it is expensive tax waste and those doing that should be liable.

Well don't blame me the last time I whacked into something was around 1979 and I had a habit of running off the road and smacking into a 10 inch thick piece of cement culvert and it always cost me a car.

Finally got a pic of the Yak in my ditch...........

That can't be me I don't have a beer in my hand.

Heard a bunch of  commotion outside a bit ago. Think is was Yak and a couple of his buddies spin casting off the county road into my front yard.
