The other thing, I usually do not post amb. calls on here since those things are more of personal nature - it might leave the homeowner vunerable to theft, vandalism, etc.

BTW, thank you for the new positive thread in regard to what makes one laugh. I will try to think of something.

God bless,

Ummm... I don't remember, I just remember it was after dark because I took my dog out.

And anyway, if you're not comfortable posting it, that's fine, I mean, I can just stop being lazy and ask my neighbors. :)

I also hit the back up on Friday. I think this week I will go thru Preston, gotta be faster.  Looks like going to work from Cambridge to Easton will be bad also.  They had cones up today west bound.  Will we ever get a break on this resurfacing job? Oh well, leave early, stay late, isn't that the motto

grandma wrote: I hear ya.  I hit that backup at 3:50 on Friday at Manadier Road, and it took me until 5:00 to get to Barber Road, 3 miles.  If I hit it again today I'm gonna start taking the back roads back to Cambridge in the PM.

I am glad that I am not alone there.  I hit the back-up around Lowest Prices at around 2:30...I didn't get across the bridge until about 3:30.  I was really frustrated because...being me, I noticed on the way in that the fast lane was closed.  So...I decided to go ahead and get in the slow lane and stay there.  Seems, even after the signs and arrows that people were getting out of the slow lane to fly in the fast lane and all of those who were responsible paid the price.  We in the slow lane...had to wait and stop to let in all the jerks who ignored the information purposefully that the fast lane was closed.  I was so mad!

Hopefully...Friday's will be the only day that it is so bad.  I'm thinking it was a combination of the rush hour, combined with beach go-ers.
