Collision Takes Life Of 24-Year Old

By:Innae Park - 08/30/2009
A 24-year old woman is killed in a fatal accident near East New Market.

Police say at around 11:15 AM on Sunday, the driver of a '97 blue Ford Crown Victoria crossed Route 392 at East New Market when it was hit by a Jeep Liberty.

The passenger of the Ford, Heidi Myers, was killed.

Officials say charges are pending for her boyfriend Benjamin Hinke, who was driving the Ford.

My scanner is on...but I haven't heard anything...

I think it is for a motorcycle accident near gravel branch road. But the scanner has been so busy tonight and a lot going on.  Also, they had a reported fire near the landfill, but not sure the outcome of that.
