"whopping success" was your phrase, not mine.

I just said success.

Secondly, the territory of both counties is quite extensive.

But the fact remains, it was more than 8 or 20, and I have to wonder if alostchild was there, seeing she said she looked "forward to seeing."

God bless,
Pete

Let me see what this does

LOCAL TEA PARTY A SUCCESS

If that does not work, I might try another computer.

God bless,
Pete

Same thing. No matter Pete, it was the thought that counted. I need nothing else to confirm what a whopping success it was. Out of two counties that have a combined population of about 60,000-75,000, you guys did well.

This is a bipartisan event....it should concern everyone not just Republicans.

The cost of this cap and tax program will destroy our economy and hurt the poor and middle class.

Make jokes if you will...but you wont be laughing when your energy costs shoot up 70% and all your others costs follow suit.

I just rec. this email and thought I would post it here for those interested. See Below:

Hi All,
Here are the details on the TEA Party for the 4th of July.  I am sorry it took a while to finalize them, but the DNR took a little persuading (at first they turned us down) to get them to confirm that we could use the Cambridge Fishing Pier (Talbot County side) from 10 a.m. to noon… and I wanted to make sure the plans were confirmed before sending them formally to you all and the media.  As of the congressional vote yesterday on Cap and Trade, the timing and need for a Tea Party could not be more crucial.
I have attached an Agenda for you to have an idea of the way we hope the morning will go.  Please invite as many people as you can.  We must push and push and push until  Washington listens.  One congressman yesterday reported that his calls from constituents were going 10 to 1 against Cap and Trade… the Congressional switchboard got over a  million calls… and still our elected leaders went in favor of this horrible legislation.
Our wonderful congress just passed a bill that creates one of the highest tax increases (although much of it is hidden) in the history of the nation.  All in the name of global warming, which is not even scientifically proven.  Al Gore stands to be a multi-millionaire, possibly billionaire, as a result of his zeal though.  So we have that going for us.  And estimates say we can expect our energy costs to go up $1500 to $2000 per year for average families.  That doesn’t include the increases in pricing this will cause to other products and services that will be affected… which is almost all of them.
Spain has tried trading traditional industry for “green” industry.  They currently have around an 18% unemployment rate.
This is an example of how this bill was bought (oh, I mean passed) from an AP news report:
“At its heart, the bill was a trade-off, less than the White House initially sought though it was more than Republicans said was acceptable. Some of the dealmaking had a distinct political feel. Rep. Alan Grayson, a first-term Democrat, won a pledge of support that $50 million from the proceeds of pollution permit sales in the bill would go to a proposed new hurricane research facility in his district in Orlando, Fla.”
Let us once again tell “King George” that we are fed up with where our leaders want to take this country.  Bring signs and enthusiasm.

Come join the Party!!
