I just received this in a e-mail from CNN Breaking News.... Sarah Palin says she will step down as governor of Alaska in a "few weeks" -- before the end of her term.

What I just heard, she is stepping down.

This is the smartest move she has made during her political career. Good riddance!

| MSNBC just ran Palin giving her speech about stepping down and wow, rambling doesn't even come close to how she sounded. I'm sure the speech will be replayed over and over. Tina Fey will only have to quote this speech word for word to get a laugh. This stuff is too good to make up. Instant comedy. It was incoherent AND rambling. Be sure to catch it if you can.

| One of the Fox news analyst, (Krautheimer ? or something like that), said when she gave her statement she was sort of rambling. He said although many in the Republican party like her, he felt she would never make a serious candidate for President.
