| I have always thought that there is more that goes on with our government then we will ever know. The governor of Ca was all gong ho to get a handle on the problem of Ca being broke. He accomplished nothing wonder why? Palin quit the job for her own reasons, will we ever know the real truth? I doubt it. Obama thinks the answer to all the nations troubles revolves around him spending more of our stolen money and thats causing taxes to go up therefore, his hand goes deeper into your pocket and mine. I have a perfect credit score and have never been late on paying anything and never had a problem obtaing new credit. At one time a very few years ago I could walk into a new car dealership, and I did, and leave with two brand new cars without one cent for a down payment. Since Obama took office I can't even get a loan for five thousand dollars. Does there seem to be a problem here? You bet there is and Obama is the problem.

I think there is much more to this story than we know right now and I look forward to watching it unfold.
I do believe what she has done probably is in the best interest of Alaska because it has been difficult to handle the affairs of the state when there is a constant barrage of stupid frivolous lawsuits and badgering.
It has had to be hard on her family also. This politics of personal distruction is a shame even though it often works.
It was so much better when we disagreed with a persons policies and politics but did not go after them or their families in a destructive and personal manner.
I believe she has something up her sleeve and it really will be interesting to watch.

A look at Palin's postings on Twitter
By The Associated Press – 1 hour ago
A look at some of Sarah Palin's postings on Twitter since she announced she was stepping down as Alaska governor:
"We'll soon attach info on decision to not seek re-election... this is in Alaska's best interest, my family's happy... it is good, stay tuned."
"Happy for hard working Alaskans who get a sunny break tomorrow to celebrate the Fourth of July - be safe, enjoy friends, thank the troops!"
"Critics are spinning, so hang in there as they feed false info on the right decision made as I enter last yr in office to not run again...."
"Attached is my "thank you" sent yesterday to express gratitude, & smack down lies at same time ..."
"Grateful Todd left fishing grnds to join me this wkend; but now he's back slaying salmon & working the kids (at) the site; anxious to join 'em!"

I have to give you liberals credit. You guys always stick to the talking points. The Republican party could and should learn from that because "Joe average" will pretty much believe anything if they hear it enough.
I really don't understand the celebration over her resignation. You don't see that out of the Republican party because we don't make everything so emotional.
Your really losing it my friend to think that your party is not like ours in any way. Geez, I was afraid to stick an Obama sign in my yard for fear of reprisal.

Liberals are the biggest hypocrites! They are in full support of abortion, whether it be early or late term, but we can't water board or use other enhanced interrogation methods on TERRORISTS who are TRYING TO KILL US because we are supposed to be so much more civilized and compassionate. Excuse me while I puke!

I think thats where you are wrong. Noone wants to see anyone fail. Me personally I'd like to see everyone have a shot at sucess but I also believe that they should WORK for that sucess and not have it handed to them while sitting on thier asses while others are workiong thiers off and having it systematically taken away from them!

you to are wrong...I am not a republican...I am a Christian! What actually upsets me is that so many are not faring well under the new Administration, except those on entitlement programs (all have been increased), and the fact that my grandchildren are saddled with debt from these massive welfare/stimulus plans.

Yeah. It really sucks for America when people use a candidates politics as a way of deciding who they should vote for.
A candidiates thoughts on Moral/Christian issues is the most important thing, the rest comes and goes. The economy is no better than 6 months ago, and we owe a fortune. The moral/Christian state of the country has eroded at a rapid pace, under the current administration. What has transpired thus far is just a scratch in the surface to what is coming in the next 42 months.
President Obama promised change. We're getting it.

| Much like Susan Boyle, Palin was pulled from obscurity and under the magnifier the princess had some warts. Like Boyle, she's melting down. Kennedy was smart to see the media for what it is and hide. The media will take your warts, turn them into a cancer, then spread it to everyone you know. I can't even stand listening to Palin, but that's just me. When you step into the fire you get burned. It's hard to take. Clinton is as tough as nails and she takes it, as do many others. It's horrible.

Re-emerge? You would vote for a quitter?
Who said anything about the republican party? It is not "my" Party. I would vote for the person who best aligns with my beliefs, that are based on the Bible. If a Democrat had some of these Christian values and ran for the highest office in the Land ( I am sure some do), I would vote for them. Neither Party aligns in every area with Biblical teaching, and my beliefs. I have to go with the one that aligns the most, or the "lesser of two evils". In the last election, the choice for me was clear. Abortion, Gay rights, Fairness doctrine, Hate crimes legislation, Tradition Marriage act, Add the muslim ties and there was no Question. Unfortunately, many others looked at "Mammon" or the economy and the war in Iraq rather than the Christian, or moral side. This will not bode well for America in the coming months and years.

Bye-bye, calculating moron and mimbo.
I like the story I just read about memos recently released by the McCain campaign staff, in which they refuse to lie for Sarah about her and her husband's involvement in an Alaskan separationist party. Makes McCain look a lot better -- and her even worse.

Doesn't she understand that there is an option between being a lame duck and resigning? Maybe she should remain committed to doing the job she was elected to do in spite of not being in office forever. Something's up.
