I have it and don't like it it seems to never go down in price but it always goes up. A $40 dollared increase per month just went into effect and we know we are using less electric than last year.

You can always pay more than your budget amount , any month you want. There should be an actual monthly usage amount, on each bill, so you can keep an eye on it.

I remember when my old electric company saw we were using more than the estimated budget amount, and raised the budget payment , so we wouldn't get hit at the end of the year. They don't want that to happen either, they want their money.

It's great if you're pretty consistent with your power usage, but when the year comes to an end if you've used more than you monthly "allowance" it can hit ya hard.

I was thinking about going with budget billing through (Delmarva Power) but was wondering how people like it and is it worth it.  Thanks.
