Here's most of the pics I took.

If the link below is too long, I will try to redo it by 10:30pm

Have you looked at the manifests at http://www.ellisisland.org ? pretty neat.
Thanks TF. Not lately. Most recent search was through Ancestry.Com.

My son Jon discovered my grandpa's draft registration card which i think I will upload below.

I had always thought that both my dad and grandad worked for the Public Service Gas Company, but last year my sister Pat my grandad did not and was a wrestler. However, this document shows that he did (listed as Essex Generating Plant- same thing).

So, my sister probably forgot. She's around 9 years older than me.

Thanks for the tip. Will try Ellis Island again.

God bless,
Pete

My favorite sign at the TEA Party:

 "Cap and Trade Kratovil"

I was impressed that just about every sign was different from the others.

One sign I saw, something about the USSR, gave me an idea for the next TEA Party,

Something like "Please don't turn my Nation into the country my granparents fled from." It'd have a copy of the only pic I have of my grandpa and grandma together.

I think grandad came to Ellis Island in 1914, but I sure cannot find any records at this time. There's a handful of Macintas/ Maciutas scattered over a few decades but nothing of my grandad.

God bless,
Pete

Another great sign:

"You can't borrow prosperity"

Over 100 people showed up for today's Tea Party, Choptank fishing pier, Talbot Side.

Calvin Collins gave a great solo. Numerous people readily spoke in reading the Admendments to the Constitution and at open mic.

Great enthusiasum from the bi-partisan crowd.

God bless all that came out and those that wish they could have been there but had to work or had other commitments.

It was great to see citizens exercising their freedom of speech and peaceable assembly.

God bless,
Pete
