Heres a tip-enough "country decor" stores already! This town has SEVERAL of these type of shops and they are all too expensive-no locals can afford that stuff!

24 hour Store-hahaha--Check the demographics-The locals cannot even keep a 12 hour store in business! Much less a 24 hour store.  The ones who are complaining are the first to run to Walmart and Salisbury to purchase items because you don't want to spend .10 cents more on an item.   The locals need to START SHOPPING LOCAL-SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES. When the locals are able to pay their electric bill, the new stores will start to open-God help Food Lion!!!!Business 101

I agree! We DO need a 24 hour store but the police would have to keep on eye on it or people would just hang out there all night long.

Don't even get me started on McDonalds. If competing fast food places were allowed in(yes,I said ALLOWED) that place would lose money so fast Baxter would have to shut it down.

Although I'm generally against big business and consumerism, I do believe the town really needs a 24/7 gas station like WaWa. I've drove past some stations at 8pm and they were closed. The Crisfield Dollar General is one of the most disorganized I have ever seen and I frequently see people with "manager" name tags in there chatting on cell phones which appear to be personal conversations.

As for "faster food" chains, how about more healthy options besides Happy Meals? Although I do agree the Crisfield McDonalds is also one of the worst on the shore.

I guess now that Rite Aid is closing stores across the country we will never get one in Crisfield. We were promised that the "Food Lion plaza" would anchor a chain drugstore. The service at both of our local independent pharmacies is great but if you need something after 7 pm you better be able to drive to Princess Anne.We just have no real consumer choices in town.

While we are at it,the national companies operating  here need improvement as well. Our dollar stores carry 1/3 the merchandise as their counterparts in Salisbury or Princess Anne. You would think in a town where there is nothing but dollar stores they would carry more items.

Then theres McDonalds, our only fast food option in town. They have horrible service but get away with it because there is no competition. You cannot drive across the street to Hardees instead. When I can go to Gordons and place an order and still be in and out there faster than McDonalds, they are not fast food anymore.
