Goldfield Ghost Town, 4650 N Mammoth Mine Road, the Valley’s only authentic 1800’s ghost town, is just five miles northeast of downtown Apache Junction on State Route 88.

Fast Draw Showdown Shootout (Sponsored in part by National Rifle Association) Try your gun hand against a mechanized iron desperado with a vintage .45. Hank Sheffer, known to many as "The Old Storyteller". While working at Apacheland Movie Ranch, Hank portrayed many characters, the Old Prospector, the card shark, Charlie Pierce and many others. You might even be arrested and hanged by the "Not just so right, Roy Pinto Bean". Marilyn Natoli. Proprietor of Madam Marilyn's Parlor in the Barn, a photography studio located in the Apacheland Barn will be available to help you create just the cowboy look you want. Marilyn has a variety of clothing available to help you create your cowboy or vintage fantasy photo.D ave Jones. Hand engraver and jewelry artist will be doing demonstrations throughout the day and showing some of his beautiful engraved weapons and sterling silver overlay "wearable art". Ray Briggs. Creator of fine western leather gear, from spur straps to cell phone holsters, handbags and a wide variety of items in between. Stop by to see Ray's first class colorful handcrafted art work. Taylor. BLM volunteer, will be demonstrating packing a burro and talking about the burro's contribution to western history, primarily mining and prospecting. Jesse James Feldman. Local author and wilderness guide, will stop by to sign his new book "Jacobs Trail" The Legend of Jacob Waltz's Lost Dutchman Gold Mine. Ken Quigly. Our favorite BBQ Chef will be selling BBQ sandwiches and cool beverages. Music provided by "Haulin' Ellis" band and the "Singing Cowboy" J.B. Tankersley.
