The Parkside HOA Board of Directors and the Anthem Community Council have announced the scheduling of a Finance Fair on Saturday, June 6 between 10:00am and 4:00pm at the Anthem Community Center. A variety of experts including financial counselors, investment consultants, mortgage counselors and bankers will be available at the event to answer questions and offer advice to attendees on topics ranging from how to manage their mortgages and start their own business to how to save on utilities and plan for their financial future. This free event is open to the public.
“The Anthem Finance Fair is a wonderful opportunity for attendees to seek free advice from volunteer professionals on how to manage the financial situation they are presently in,” said Randy Schmille, Parkside HOA Representative, Anthem Community Council. “Our hope is to reach out to the community to lend a helping hand in these difficult times.”
Businesses and consultants participating in the Anthem Finance Fair will be grouped in the following categories: financial counseling; utility cost savings; investment consulting; mortgage counseling; banking; and non-profit corporations relating to housing.
Businesses wishing to participate in the Anthem Finance Fair and share their expertise should contact Scott McVay, the event’s organizer, at scottnancymcv@hotmail.com for more information. Attendees should bring details of mortgage loans, credit card debt, 401K/IRA accounts, as well as homeowners, auto, boat, life insurance coverage to discuss and review alternatives with counselors at the Fair.
“In these challenging economic times, everyone is looking for guidance regarding mortgages, 401Ks and other investments,” said Bob Copen, Director, Anthem Community Council. “We are very excited to be able to provide a friendly, stress-free environment for people to ask the questions they have and get the answers they seek. The Parkside Board of Directors and the Anthem Community Council are proud to sponsor this event.”
