Now that cooler temps are here, are you and your horse ready for some fall and winter trail riding? For those of you who want to sharpen your trail riding skills and become a better partner to your horse, you’re in luck! Noted clinician Paul Dietz will be presenting a 2-day Horsemanship & Trail Riding Clinic on October 25 and 26 in Surprise, AZ.
Common problems on the trail – such as herd-bound horses, jigging, water-crossing, speed & gait control, head-tossing, grazing, and inattentive and non-responsive horses – will all be covered. At all times Paul’s emphasis will be on safety for the rider and the horse, and the proper trail-riding etiquette to make your group rides enjoyable.
On both days the clinic will begin at 9 a.m. with a horsemanship session in the arena. After a lunch break, all attendees will be able to enjoy a group ride on the trail with Paul to apply the lessons learned.
Riders of all ages and all disciplines are welcome! For more information and to reserve your spot, please call Elka at 623-694-8003 or Christine at 602-332-5038.
