Hospice of the Valley’s White Dove Thrift Shoppe- with locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale- offers quality goods for holiday shoppers looking for bargains during the economic downturn.
The stores offer daily specials and eclectic items including holiday decorations, jewelry, furniture and gently used high-quality clothes. “There is a surprise every time you come in because items change daily,” said Kevin Knight, store manager. Sale proceeds benefit patients served by the not-for-profit agency, which provides end-of-life care.
Shopping hours at the Phoenix location, 5035 N. 7th Ave., are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Scottsdale location, 8461 E. McDonald Dr., is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Information: 602-776-1540 or hov.org.
