The Forum at Desert Harbor, a Five Star Quality Care Community, launches a six-month fantasy cruise with a tide of seaworthy events rippling across the 2009 calendar. World-class entertainers will keep the cruise-like-theme going full steam ahead as the lakeside retirement community sails towards its 20th anniversary in January 2010.
Visitors are invited to come on board as Desert Harbor residents “dock” at a different port each month. Globetrotters will savor a taste of Spain, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Japan and Hawaii (all without having to depart Desert Harbor).
Plan to be on deck for The Forum’s first port when the itinerary docks in Spain on Wed., July 15 at 1:30 p.m. A colorful array of costumes will skirt across The Forum Center as “Danzas de España” strums up a cultural program whirling around Spanish guitar and flamenco dances.
This fabulous flamenco performance is free. Book your reservations by July 13 with The Forum’s marketing department at 623-972-0995. Then cruise by The Forum at Desert Harbor located at 13840 N. Desert Harbor Dr., north of Thunderbird Road at 91st Avenue in Peoria.
