PHOENIX (June 10, 2009) – YourAutoNetwork.com announced that now through July, approximately 50 Your Auto Network accredited automotive shops are holding a clothing donation drive to benefit The Salvation Army’s Kaiser Family Homeless Shelter in Phoenix. The clothing drive is designed to help shelter residents land a job by providing them with the clothes to make a good impression. Donations will also help with day-to-day work attire.
Items needed include gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, shoes, blankets, sheets, towels, and work uniforms.
Drop off locations include Apache Junction, Avondale, Cave Creek, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Mesa, Peoria, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Surprise, Tempe and donation locations are listed on Your Auto Network’s Web site. About the Kaiser Program
The Kaiser program provides temporary shelter to families who have suffered a crisis and comprises a 120-day working program for families. Clients are required to find work within 2 weeks of residing in the shelter. The Salvation Army has been serving the Phoenix area since 1893 with a broad array of programs for the homeless, working poor, children, youth, addicted and elderly.
