Krispy Kreme Launches Arizona-Wide Search for No. 1 Fan
MESA, ARIZ. (April 25, 2008)—Krispy Kreme Mesa has launched a search on YouTube for “Arizona’s No. 1 Krispy Kreme Fan.” The contest began today and will close May 7, 2008.
“The ‘Arizona’s No. 1 Krispy Kreme Fan’ contest is a fun way to include the community and re-create brand awareness. I am extremely appreciative of those fans that have been waiting two years for our return,” said Dan Brinton, Mesa Krispy Kreme franchise partner. “I believe in the Krispy Kreme brand and I can’t wait to see the video entries from community members who feel the same way.”
The true “Arizona’s No. 1 Krispy Kreme Fan” will win a lifetime supply of hot glazed doughnuts from the Mesa store (one dozen doughnuts per month for 50 years), a No. 1 Fan T-shirt and hat, recognition and participation in the grand opening ceremonies on May 13, 2008 and an irrefutable reputation.
Krispy Kreme lovers of all types are encouraged to submit a video and show off their doughnut pride. Contestants don’t just have to be a fan of the glazed doughnut and may confess love for any of Krispy Kreme’s 15 delicious varieties in their video.
The contest is open to Arizona residents, 18 years or older at the time of registration. Fans are invited to record and post home-made videos on YouTube stating and demonstrating why they’ve missed Krispy Kreme and why they deserve the title as Arizona’s No. 1 Krispy Kreme Fan.
Entrants must e-mail info@azdoughnutfan.com with a direct link to the YouTube post and contact information including full first and last name, valid e-mail address, valid phone number and valid mailing address in order to qualify for the chance to win the title of Arizona’s No. 1 Krispy Kreme Fan. Posts will be reviewed by a panel of Krispy Kreme judges. Posts will be judged based on originality, representation of the Krispy Kreme brand and communicated brand loyalty. The designation as Arizona’s No. 1 Krispy Kreme Fan will go to the post that best embraces these criteria as determined by the judging panel.
