Shotgun shooters, experienced to beginners, are invited to enroll in the upcoming summer leagues June 10 - July 29, at the Ben Avery Clay Target Center. Leagues are provided by the Ben Avery Clay Busters, for all levels of competition.
These 8-week summer leagues include trap, double trap, skeet, 5-stand, sporting clays and a mixed bag, consisting of trap, skeet and sporting clays, providing recreational fun for the entire family. Fees are $32 for members and $40 for nonmembers for all sports, except mixed bag, which is $40 for members and $56 for nonmembers. An awards barbecue/ banquet is scheduled for August 5th.
League shooting is from 4 - 8:30 PM, and start times depend on teams. For those taking vacations during the league schedules, make ups or shooting ahead is allowed, but only on Wednesday league nights. If single shooters do not have a team, they may be assigned to a squad that needs additional shooters. It's a great way to meet new friends and find shotgunners to shoot with recreationally.
