BIRT’S BISTRO AND BOOKSTORE
PROMOTES $6 FOR A BAG OF BOOKS
Surprise, Ariz. – Kick start your summer reading list by visiting Birt’s Bistro and Bookstore June 4-5 and take advantage of the “Brown Bag Book Sale.” For only $6, customers can take home as many books as they can fit in one of Birt’s Bistro and Bookstore’s large brown paper bags.
“We currently have a great selection of gently used books all organized by categories and genre,” said Joanne Anderson, Interfaith’s vice president of business operations. “We even plan on having vintage and special collectors’ edition books in the future.”
Birt’s Bistro and Bookstore is open 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and is located within Interfaith’s new campus, the Hellen and John M. Jacobs Independence Plaza, 16752 N. Greasewood St., Surprise, 85374. The bistro and bookstore offers free Wi-Fi access and also features a classroom, which regularly holds enriching classes for the community. Social workers are available in the information and referral offices to provide support and help for those seeking community resources. The books in the used bookstore are donated by the community and sold at minimal costs. The bistro offers specialty coffee drinks, made-to-order sandwiches, soups and salads.
