The youth of Palo Cristi Presbyterian Church in Paradise Valley are hosting a classical concert featuring Quartet Sabaku. The concert is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7 at the church, 3535 E. Lincoln Drive. Tickets are available the day of the concert for a suggested donation of $15 each.
The concert is a great opportunity to expose young children to classical music as Quartet Sabaku is comprised of Phoenix Symphony musicians. Funds raised from the concert will support Palo Cristi's youth group's July 2009 trip to Iowa City to help rebuild the area after the devastating floods of the summer of 2008 displaced more than 40,000 Americans.
