Upcoming Activities Scheduled at
Interfaith’s Chez Nous Center and Café
Interfaith Community Care’s Chez Nous Center and Café, located at 14495 R.H. Johnson Boulevard in Sun City West, offers several classes to individuals in the community interested in learning something new. In addition, made-to-order sandwiches, soup du jour and an array of hot and cold specialty coffee drinks are available throughout the day. A hot meal is served daily at 12 p.m., reservations are requested.
- Reiki Workshop – Enjoy this special workshop on Monday, July 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with Reiki Master and Reflexologist, Mary Ann Beilin. Reiki heals the cause, not just the symptoms. It brings your body, mind and spirit into harmony and balance. Join us and give it a try.
- Afternoon Movies Return to Chez Nous – Start your morning off right … enjoy free popcorn and a great movie. Join us for the screening of “The Shell Seekers” on Monday, July 28, at 10 a.m.
- Fall Prevention – Kitty Tirone will provide tips on how you can prevent falls during her presentation, “Fall Prevention, How to Change Behaviors to Prevent Falls,” on Tuesday, July 29, at 1 p.m. Her presentation will include information on the benefits of a personal emergency response system such as Phillips Lifeline, a service that Interfaith Community Care offers.
- Birthday Celebrations! – Come enjoy lunch and birthday cake while we celebrate all the July Birthdays on Wednesday, July 30, at 12 p.m. Those celebrating their birthdays this month will receive a coupon for a free drink from the barista.
- Support Group for the Visually Impaired - This support group will meet on Thursday, July 31, at 10 a.m. With facilitator, Diane Shapiro, come share your experiences and learn more from guest speakers about new products and technology in the optical world.

Chez Nous (pronounced shay new) is designed to offer active seniors a place to socialize, meet new people, learn new things and enjoy a healthy meal. The café, open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., provides attendees with table games, entertainment, exercise, and educational programs.
