Saturday may 2nd, 2009. Heritage Shores located in Bridgeville DE found this group of shoppers on Widgeon Way. It was the annual Bridgeville Community Yard Sale.

| … I like this picture taken for the upcoming community newsletter. The editor asked me to submit some flag pictures for a Memorial Day story. He needed a cover shot. Today the local minor league baseball team, the Delmarva Shorebirds, played the Lakewood BlueClaws. The Bridgeville De community of Heritage Shores’ very own resident, Pat Sweet, threw out one of the first balls. That’s her walking off the field after a flawless throw. To get ready for her task today, her hubby suggested she practice with a tennis. Before the game, however, she managed to get the feel of a real baseball.

Providence Of Brookfield Homes introduced a new model called The Kincaid. It's a smaller sized home which makes more sense today. With some much time on my hands, I decided to stop by and take a look. The new model offers 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, Den, 1/2 car garage, GE Kitchen appliances, large Great Rooms, 9' ceilings on main level, Energy Star certified savings, and a Sky basement(storage space in attic) is available.
The wind was blowing to the left and that explains the position of the sales flag.

Big wheels on a piece of heavy equipment being used to put down asphalt pavement. This is part of the Route 404 highway project being done in Bridgeville DE. The section being complete here is in front of the Food Lion which sits right off Route 13.

This little fellow was going from flower to flower collecting nectar. Hopefully, next week the warm temperatures come to Heritage Shores in Brigdeville as the bees have done.

Bridgeville Community Walk Saturday April 4, 2009
The 2009 Spring into Health Community Walk. The Community Walk is not a fundraiser, but an awareness event being held at the Woodbridge Sports Complex on Adams Road from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.
2 adult bicycles & 2 youth bicycles were to be given away at the event.

This young man was seen fishing 3 or 4 days ago on the Nanticoke River in Seaford DE. It was much warmer on this day before we arrived to the first day of Spring, which is today March 20th 2009.
