Silent Auction dinner party

DOVER — Dover After 5 will sponsor a dinner party with a Silent Auction  Stonecraft Ministries 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, in the Noble Eagle restaurant, 518 Bay Road (U.S. 113), Dover. "This will be our best ever and all proceeds will benefit Stoneroft Ministries." Phyllis Giglio, a mother of 12, will share the humor and life-changing lessons she learned from her children. Joann Cohen will be the guest musician.


All-inclusive cost of the event is $15. Reservations, as well as cancellations, must by made by Thursday, Sept. 10, by calling Diane at 697-6020. Reservations not kept must be paid for or used by a friend.

Learn to reduce and organize clutter, and to ‘be real’        

DOVER – Dover Women’s Connection will sponsor a breakfast buffet 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday [Aug. 11] in the Hilton Garden Inn, 1706 N. Du Pont Highway, Dover, featuring  Amy Marta-Carney, who will give a program on reducing and organizing clutter; Danielle Lundin, a local soloist who will sing; and Paula Muelhauser, who will speak on “Learning what it means to be real.

            The cost of the event is $15, all-inclusive. Free child care will be available on premises. Reservations and cancellations for breakfast and child care are required by Friday (Aug. 7) and may be made by calling Mary Ellen at 678-1854 or Diane at 697-6020.

Support Our Troops dinner party

DOVER — Dover After 5 Women’s Connection will sponsor a dinner party with a Support Our Troops program 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, in the Noble Eagle restaurant, 518 Bay Road, Dover, in which a USO representative will share information about how to help support our troops, Dawn Loken will speak on "Freedom from bitterness" and Amy Kellen will sing.


All-inclusive cost of the event is $15. Reservations, as well as cancellations, must by made by Friday, July 10, by calling Diane at 697-6020. Reservations not kept must be paid or used by a friend.

DOVER — Dover After 5 Women’s Connection will hold a Chocolate Lovers Dinner Party 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, in Noble Eagle Restaurant, 518 Bay Road, Dover. Carrie Geyer, a Dover Chocolate Discoveries consultant, will share some delicious samples. Guest speaker Danelle Carell will give a talk on "Securing and Ensuring Peace in Today’s Hectic World."

Healthy Living Dinner Party


DOVER — Dover After 5 Women’s Connection will sponsor a Healthy Living Dinner Party from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, in the Noble Eagle Restaurant, 518 Bay Road, Dover. Gina Collins, RN, BSN, will give information to attendees for managing their health care, and speaker Glorious Ford, a former Pentagon employee who has traveled extensively, will share her life of variety in a presentation titled "To Plan or Not to Plan."


The all-inclusive cost of the dinner and program is $15, and reservations and cancellations must be made by Friday, May 8. Reservations not kept must be paid or used by a friend. For reservations, call Diane at 697-6020.
