‘The Face of Grace’ set for August
DOVER — Meet Your Sisters At The Well announces its fourth annual event titled "The Face of Grace." The event will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, in the Schwartz Center for the Arts, 222 S. State St., Dover. This is a night dedicated to let all women see, feel and hear about the Grace of God.
Meet Your Sisters was birthed as a result of Anita Kiger’s leadership role as Women’s Team Leader in 2006 for the First State Fallfest. The vision was to provide an event that gathered women of all denominations and races from the community together to embrace their differences and celebrate their common love of God. Since 2006, more than 500 women from all walks, races and denominations have gathered to enjoy an elegant evening of worship, unity and sisterhood in the body of Christ.
This year’s evening includes praise and worship by Ben and Deneice Brown, special performances by Angelic Steps dance ministry from Columbia, Md., and songs from the Women of Wyoming Methodist Church ensemble. The highlight of the evening will be the personal and touching testimony of Meet Your Sisters’ own Anita Kiger, who will be sharing her testimony of a time in her life when God peeled back the veil and let her look into the "Face of Grace." A reception and refreshments will be served in the ballroom immediately following the event.
Come out and experience a refreshing time of praise, worship, restoration and fun as you gather with your sisters for an unforgettable and inspirational visit to the Well of Life. Doors open at 6 p.m. so that ladies may view various ministries and vendors prior to the beginning of the evening’s program.
