Felton Lodge # 30 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows held its 150th anniversary celebration on Saturday June 13th at the Felton Fire Hall. The attendees included members of the Odd Fellows and the Rebekahs from all over Delaware and the Deputy Sovereign Grand Master for the United States, Paul Cuminale. Mr. Cuminale was the main speaker. Thomas L. Kates of Felton gave a history of the Felton Lodge. State Representative Robert Outten presented a tribute to the Felton Lodge for its service to the community. The lodge also received tributes from the Delaware Senate sponsored by Senator Nancy Cook, and from the Kent County Levy court sponsored by Levy Court Commissioner Harold Brode. The Odd Fellows in Felton help local needy families and operate a Santa house in the park.
