St. John's Holy Church marks pastor's 18th anniversary
HARTLY -- St. John's Holy Church, 825 Fords Corner Road, Hartly, will celebrate the 18th anniversary of their pastor, Elder James Combs, with a series of afternoon services over three Sundays, each of which will have a different clergy person and his or her congregation as guests.
On Nov. 8, Bishop Ralph Benson and his congregation from Dover will be guests at a 4 p.m. service. On Nov. 15, Elder Deborah Lewis and her congregation from Centreville, Md., will be guests at a 4 p.m. service. On Nov. 22, Elder Carlton Cartwright and his congregation from Pocomoke City, Md., will be guests at a 2:30 p.m. service.
Each Sunday, as usual, Sunday school will take place at 10 a.m., and Morning Worship will take place at 11 a.m. For more information, call 734-1508.
