ELLENDALE — The Ellendale Volunteer Fire Co. will have an Open House on Saturday, May 23, at the fire hall.

The event will include displays and demonstrations, both inside and out, for both children and adults. Hot dogs and drinks will be furnished to enjoy.

In addition to the activities at the fire hall, there will be a parade beginning at 11 a.m. It will go from Sussex 213 through Ellendale Del. 16 toward the east and end at the Ellendale Fire Hall. It will feature only antique trucks, cars and police cars, all at least 20 years old. DelDOT has approved this plan.
