Challenger Space Center presents NASA
Vision of Space Exploration Exhibit, April 21-23
PEORIA, AZ, April 18--The Challenger Space Center in Peoria is inviting the public to take a “walk on the moon” during its three-day, rare, interactive NASA Space exhibit called “Vision of Space Exploration.”
The exhibit offers visitors a virtual trip to the moon, including the chance to see and touch an authentic moon rock. Interactive control panels, activity stations, 3-D imagery and audio effects will immerse participants in a multi-sensory walk on the lunar surface. This is the only Arizona stop on this nationwide tour!
Public viewing times are Mon., April 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and on Wed, April 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. Reservations are required.
The NASA exhibit is included in the general admission price of the Challenger Space Center. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for students 6-18 and seniors 55 and over. Ages 5 and under and Challenger Space Center members are always free.
