Voice of the Desert Chorus, the West Valley’s championship Sweet Adelines chorus, is looking for new talent - women who love to sing and perform. To start the process, the chorus has launched a membership drive, which runs through June 2. "Divas" and "diva wannabes" will undergo voice placement testing, and, if placed, enter a five- to eight-week audition process to learn to sing a cappella barbershop-style music. The chorus meets at 7 p.m. Mondays in Circle of Peace Church, 8430 W. Deer Valley Drive, Peoria.
