Light Up a Life, an annual remembrance event sponsored by Hospice of the Valley, will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday (NOTE: Nov. 16) at Steele Indian School Park, 300 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. The event includes a photo montage set to music provided by musicians from the Phoenix Symphony, the Pirazzi Quartet.
More than 1,300 people participated in last year’s Light Up a Life event, honoring those who have died by gathering to pay tribute. Paper ornaments with space to write the person’s name will be available for people to hang on trees and illuminated necklaces will be distributed to guests. The event is free and open to the public.
