And why do you think that stop sign is there?  Do you think it does not apply to you?  Will you continue to run it when it has been replaced by a traffic light?

Deputies seek criminals

Are you aware that as early as 5 a.m. in Sun City West, Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies are out looking diligently for "criminals" along R. H. Johnson Boulevard?

In an effort to keep everyone safe (so they say), they are policing the stop sign at Trail Ridge Drive, saving all those persons out walking at that early hour (NOT!) of the morning. We saw none as the snowbirds were gone, but since it was the end of the month and was time for the out-of-city deputy to file one more traffic ticket, he stopped a lone 73-year-old woman on her way to the grocery store.

We must catch these "criminals," or could it possibly be that the county is low on funds and is now targeting Seniors, many of whom have easily lost 30 percent to 50 percent of their retirement income.

Yes, traumatizing, terrorizing or just plain sick — some might even call it "evil." I call it sleazy!
