Limbaugh ain't running for anything.  The Dems need something pertinent to stew over.

Rush Limbaugh is a loose cannon who plays to the extreme political right. Fortunately, with a less than 30% share of the electorate, the far right has little chance of winning an election at the national level in a country that is and has been center-right. Republican wanna-be candidates who might have a chance of winning are distancing themselves from Rush and his ilk. For any candidate to win at the national level, he/she has to play to the center while keeping the extremist base mollified. Example? Dubya Bush. During his first campaign, he talked like a moderate and shifted right along with his neo-con handlers once elected.

Obama propoganda efforts

To divert attention from their sinking ship, President Barack Obama’s minions have mounted a campaign designed to turn the easily propagandized public against the Republican Party.

To do this they seek first to demonize Rush Limbaugh, popular conservative talk radio figure, and then paint him as the leader of the Republicans.

Demos protested loudly when pre-election attention was focused on ex-terrorist William Ayers, fanatical Jeremiah Wright and crafty George Soros, far-left manipulator; all supporters of Mr. Obama. Now that they are in power, they are using a similar tactic. The difference is Mr. Limbaugh is a patriotic American who has their number. He can see through their false facade and is skilled at exposing their hypocrisy. The others are genuine radicals.

I understand why Rom Emmanuel, Paul Bagala, James Carville and Mr. Obama hate Rush Limbaugh. He is a real threat to their power and their political aspirations. I will trade Mr. Limbaugh for the lot of them.
