Hope it works out Mr. Knight, my son said he was graduating too, but then no degree came in the mail.
FYI, I am not attending some mail order degree program as you seem to insinuate. The University of Phoenix has the same accreditation as every major University in the United States, I checked prior to enrolling 2 years ago.

| Since we are such sticklers for fact, Mr. Knight will be getting his degree in September 2008. He doesn't have it yet. He just answered that question for me on another topic in the Peoria forum. Mr. Leone was stating that unlike Ms. Carlat, Mr. Knight was educated and was working on his business degree, so when I looked further (I like to really evaluate the candidates) I noted the inconsistency. I think Mr. Knight's bio says it will be from Phoenix University, some kind of on-line degree program I think. Hope it works out Mr. Knight, my son said he was graduating too, but then no degree came in the mail.

All, We have a intelligent choice for the Mesquite District in MARK KNIGHT. He is running against Cathy in the Sept. election. Mark has a business degree unlike Cathy.

I couldn't agree more! Cathy Carlat looked like a deer caught in the headlights. The city council meeting of July 17th was an indicator of just how much Cathy Carlat has learned in her 4 years in office, not much. The meeting shows she is not a leader but instead a follower.
With the fast paced growth of our community, we the citizens of the Mesquite district desperately need a leader and Cathy Carlat does not fit the role.

Who is the Vice Mayor of Peoria? Steve Kemp or Carlat?
After watching the city council meeting on July 17th citizens are left scratching their heads! Vice Mayor Carlat was certainly more than lost. She was incompetent!
City Attorney Steve Kemp was left being questioned for guidance on every item. As he tried desperately to run the meeting as “liaison” vice mayor.
How will he legally handle Carlat not even being able to correctly identify the date change of items on the agenda? Council motioned and voted to change the property discussion for 83rd and pinnacle peak to the July 22nd meeting, only to have Carlat announce with closing it was moved to August! Pay attention citizens of Peoria as she would not allow citizens to vote for how the mayor is replaced.....she would be the city mayor if Mayor Barrett cannot fulfill his term!! There is no doubt my college sophomore could do a better job!
Mr. Kemp, please do not take vacation at the same time as the mayor!! Mr. Kemp, thanks for stepping in. Maybe you can get double pay, city attorney and “liaison” vice mayor.
