| Various posts have been deleted by the webmaster and this topic is now closed. The deleted posts had nothing to do with any public issue --- which, after all, is the purpose of these forums. This topic seems to have started with the purpose of discussing a community issue and ended up with a series of immature rants. We were tempted to ban every member who participated in this senseless bickering. We urge members to use these forums to discuss public issues in a civil manner. Well I was hoping we could stay on point here, but as has been the case since I've started blogging, some of us are easily sidetracked. I wish I had the time aynkm has to blog all day, but some of us have to work; have families that we devote a little time to; and may even enjoy some personal hobbies. I try to keep an eye on all of you, but can really only devote thoughtful time to blog at night, so begging me to play during a workday is probably useless. So, aynkm, I think it would serve you well to try and get a life and quit being so hateful.
Now let's get back on track. The bottom line is that the $20 million is going to VSEBT to invest. That's part of the kit and kaboodle. Do you really think they would take our business without money up front? Do you really think this fight for district business over the last couple of years has been benevolent. Please, aynkm, you're more delusional than even I thought. You can try as you might, but there is no explaining away the relationship between Diane, Rick, Tom Boone, Ted Carpenter, and the ever knowledgeable Attorney Cantelme. The facts are clear. Once again, even if everything was on the above board, which, of course, it isn't, this has been a political payback. The people really benefitting here are Boone, Carpenter, etc. And ultimately there will be a reward for Diane and Rick (actually there already has been) along the line. So blow smoke as much as you want, but these are facts, pure and simple. If this had been Erb, we would be eyeball deep in your screaming, letter writing, public information requests and legal investigations. Instead all you have is praise for Diane, which is suspect in inself. And apparently you are so fond of Santarelli because Diane can lead him around. So sad, really.

But you're right about one thing: I know more about how the school district operates and the politics and people behind it than you ever could hope to. You see, in an earlier post I told him I never met Mary Crespino in the hope of brushing off his inane question, because he thinks I'm Mary. The attempt here by aynkm is to call my credibility in question now that his is down to zero. The problem, though, is that every one can tell I was brushing off his question.

Peoria Unified School District’s “PATH – Peoria Access to Technology at Home” program received an award of merit, and the district nominated co-chairs of the Peoria Election Committee, Mary Crespino and Lorna Thacker, for organizing efforts to win a $120.5 million bond election and M&O override campaign worth more than $16 million in district operating funds. The district’s volunteer program that matches at-risk third graders with adult mentors, through assistance with Arrowhead Honda, “Learning Links” received an award of merit.
That Mary Crespino - she's something. It's funny you first denied you ever met her and now you said you did. Weren't you part of this M & O override campaign, Apache Mommy? You must have just been a part-timer or something, is that right? Odd that guys aren't really good friends because you know what I found out, Mary Crespino graduated from Leadership West - just like you did!!!! You guys have so much in common!!!!!

Erickson had put this in her head that this whole very flimsy allegation had legs and she believed it. When she was confronted with the fact that this $20 million was going nowhere, she understood the whole jig was up and I watched her turn into this absolutely evil childlike person. As I stated earlier, this is exactly how this group operates. They have one individual who tells them what to think and they become non-thinking robots. When something like this is thrown out and actually proven, it is like their wires are crossed and they became absolutely desperate. Suddenly, they were grasping at anything to attack the messenger (me) and it really was quite amazing to watch. There was no substance and it was just so stupid what she was saying, but it was a method to get me off this $20 million problem they were having and they all came out like rats as they knew they had to silence me somehow and divert the attention from this link.
It really is like water off duck’s back to me because they have absolutely no idea who I am. The problem is this is how they operate in the district and this is very dangerous the way they do this. Without any evidence, without even a somewhat plausible scenario, they will throw this nonsense out and too many people will believe it. I used to read Erickson’s blogs and there would not be one person who would disagree with him for months. Peoria Dad and Apache Mom would trumpet the coming of the blogs like it was the Holy Grail. And Diane Douglas has become enemy #1. Why, becomes Douglas is onto them and she is just one tough woman. She saw through the bulls**t that was going on in the district and knew there needed to changes made and by God she started asking questions and then they began to get absolutely nasty with her and well, we know the rest. I have so much respect for Diane Douglas…..
There were almost 5,000 hits on this thread, most of them in the past three days or so. Really it’s me and a couple of drop-ins against maybe seven, eight, nine posters. My point is that there more people out there reading these threads than just the people that post. I have learned how to play the game with them and that I have to be absolutely filthy dirty as this is the language they understand. But my sense is thinking people have this group figured out and it is wearing very thin – but they don’t wish to have their heritage questioned in the process of questioning their methods and beliefs. Hopefully, I am right about this because it is just a bad situation with these people, there is absolutely no doubt….I am not overstating that they are absolutely evil…
But don’t worry, I ain’t going anywhere. Now that this $20 million smokescreen has been shown to be what it is, I’ll lay off here a bit. But, this mob mentality to get rid of me just will not yield results….and that’s a fact…if anything it will encourage me to poke around even more and I can be dangerous….just ask Apache Mommy….

No implication at all...it would seem a bit strange to me that you meet all these people in the district and you wouldn't meet Mary.....
Just a general question about Mary, who was also involved in the last bond issue as I believe you were and you never crossed paths, is that accurate??? That's odd to me.... Would you say that Mary makes herself appear shall we say, noble, and just say for arguments sake that we found out that Mary turned out to be AnnieR. Do you think Mary's credibility would take a major hit and her comments 'it's only about the kids' credo would also take a major hit? Just a general question you understand.....

There’s Something About Mary
First an update on Mary Crespino’s public records request: Peoria Unified School District school board member Rick Murphy still hasn’t handed over his e-mails. School Board President Diane Douglas has not provided the e-mails that include the names of those to whom she’s communicating, and communicating with her. Both, as we now know thanks to the Arizona Ombudsman’s Office, are violations of the state’s Public Records Law.
All those who are shocked by this non-turn of events, raise you hands. None? That’s what I thought.
A short time ago I had a brief e-mail conversation with Crespino. Since stories about Murphy’s and Douglas’s refusals to comply with state law came out, she has been approached by at least one attorney who offered to take up her cause pro bono. And I can tell you why: this case is a slam dunk winner, and one in which a young attorney could make a name for themselves.
Crespino turned the attorney down.
“Why would I do that?” Crespino said. “The only thing pursuing this would do is cost the district money. Anyone who read the Ombudsman’s report knows that I would win if I took this to court. If I did that the district would end up spending a lot of money on attorney’s fees, and would also have to pay my attorney’s fees, too. In the end that would only take money out of my kids’ classrooms and yours. I don’t want to do that.”
“What I want,” Crespino said, “is for the people elected to represent us to obey the law. I don’t think that’s asking too much.”
I also asked Crespino about the intent behind the records request, and about the concerns people had about what she was going to do with the information she received.
“Talk about things being blown out of proportion,” she said. “I said from the start that the only thing I wanted to see was how much influence some people had over the governing board. We all have a right to know that. My biggest concern was that these people would use their influence to undo the work of district voters. Remember, most of these people worked against the bond and override, and to my mind against the district, including Mrs. Douglas and Mr. Murphy. As one of the people responsible for that campaign committee, I want to make sure that the promises made to the community during those elections are kept. Sooner or later the district will need another bond or override, and if the district doesn’t live up to its commitments, it will lose the support of the community.
“I never cared about anyone’s conversations in regard to their kids. That’s between them and the governing board. And all of that information is removed anyway. They also remove information like e-mail addresses, home addresses and telephone numbers, so all that talk about me harassing people was garbage, and I think most people were smart enough to know that.”
Finally, I asked if she ever expects Murphy to turn over the e-mail she requested.
“No,” Crespino said. “And you know what? That’s his problem. For all his talk about open government during the campaign, he blew his one chance to prove it. He’s the one who will have to answer for that, not me.”

I'm sorry you rec'd such a horrid e-mail, TrulyUnbelievable, but thanks for exposing AnneR to be such a hateful vindictive person(s). God forbid anyone should disagree with the almighty AnneR (and Apache Mom and PUSD Teacher [and God forbid Teacher is REALLY a Teacher... that's beyond frightening).
I agree with AYNKM - these are evil people (and AnneR, Apache Mom, PUSD Teacher are all one in the same-- it's obvious to everyone) Thanks for fighting the good fight, AYNKM. Believe me - more folks out here are on your side and consider the three loons to be an embarrassment to the PUSD (oh - this will get "them" angry!) Their ring leader is GONE. They need to deal with the changes in the District and accept the fact that Erb is GONE. Get over it ladies (i.e., all three of you residing within one body) and please let's play nice on this forum. You really have gone over the edge and need to get a grip on reality.
On a side note: I applaud Diane Douglas and the other board members (who - btw - voted unanimously) for saving the PUSD stake holders an unbelievable amount of money - and the employees retain benefits (most are grateful to have a job, plus benefits, but - of course - "PUSD Teacher" just has that unbelievably huge chip on her shoulder. Go, please, leave, and get the heck outta PUSD if it's just so awful to have to deal with this benefit package. Adios. There are 300+ teachers who will gratefully take your place (and - we'll be grateful to have any one of them if it means you're outta here.)

Still, it takes nothing away from the fact that our good friend aynkm is holding conversations with himself on this very forum, and there is nothing he can do to escape that fact.

Suddenly there is no talk at all about the $20 million that has been given to VIST executives anymore. Why? Because we all know that this has been shown to be a façade. The $20 million is not going anywhere. It’s staying right with the Peoria’s EBT. What’s my source – not Diane Douglas, not Rick Murphy, but PUSD own website. Without this $20 million exchanging hands, how can there be any conflict of interest? There can’t and the rats understood this and they just became desperate. It was just amazing how they all soon understood their whole argument had just been vanquished.
And no one understood this better than this Apache Mom. Apache Mom breathes and dies PUSD politics. She actually keeps photos of Erickson’s blog, which is just beyond bizarre. You know, the rest of the people AnnieR, Frankie40, PUSD, etc., they are all just really very simple people. But Apache Mom is just a despicable person with a little bit of intelligence and an absolute bizarre adulation of Erickson, and that can be a frightening combination. Erickson had put this in her head that this whole very flimsy allegation had legs and she believed it. When she was confronted with the fact that this $20 million was going nowhere, she understood the whole jig was up and I watched her turn into this absolutely evil childlike person. As I stated earlier, this is exactly how this group operates. They have one individual who tells them what to think and they become non-thinking robots. When something like this is thrown out and actually proven, it is like their wires are crossed and they became absolutely desperate. Suddenly, they were grasping at anything to attack the messenger (me) and it really was quite amazing to watch. There was no substance and it was just so stupid what she was saying, but it was a method to get me off this $20 million problem they were having and they all came out like rats as they knew they had to silence me somehow and divert the attention from this link.
It really is like water off duck’s back to me because they have absolutely no idea who I am. The problem is this is how they operate in the district and this is very dangerous the way they do this. Without any evidence, without even a somewhat plausible scenario, they will throw this nonsense out and too many people will believe it. I used to read Erickson’s blogs and there would not be one person who would disagree with him for months. Peoria Dad and Apache Mom would trumpet the coming of the blogs like it was the Holy Grail. And Diane Douglas has become enemy #1. Why, becomes Douglas is onto them and she is just one tough woman. She saw through the bulls**t that was going on in the district and knew there needed to changes made and by God she started asking questions and then they began to get absolutely nasty with her and well, we know the rest. I have so much respect for Diane Douglas…..
There were almost 5,000 hits on this thread, most of them in the past three days or so. Really it’s me and a couple of drop-ins against maybe seven, eight, nine posters. My point is that there more people out there reading these threads than just the people that post. I have learned how to play the game with them and that I have to be absolutely filthy dirty as this is the language they understand. But my sense is thinking people have this group figured out and it is wearing very thin – but they don’t wish to have their heritage questioned in the process of questioning their methods and beliefs. Hopefully, I am right about this because it is just a bad situation with these people, there is absolutely no doubt….I am not overstating that they are absolutely evil…
But don’t worry, I ain’t going anywhere. Now that this $20 million smokescreen has been shown to be what it is, I’ll lay off here a bit. But, this mob mentality to get rid of me just will not yield results….and that’s a fact…if anything it will encourage me to poke around even more and I can be dangerous….just ask Apache Mommy….
