Just bumping this up in the ranks a bit because I think it's a vital message..Unlike most of the bickering and BS that goes on around here by a minority of people. 

I'm thinking of going down there Thursday...:)

A kind heart and an empathetic ear are the main requirements for serving as a volunteer for Hospice of the Valley, a not-for-profit that cares for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Duties include listening and talking with patients, reading, playing cards, running errands or sitting with a patient while the family caregiver takes a break.
A training session will be held June 1 through June 26, meeting from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays at Hospice of the Valley’s Northeast Clinical Office, 5111 N. Scottsdale Rd., Suite 108,  Scottsdale.  Information: 602-636-6336 or hov.org.
