I have an idea. How about a lunch get together? Pipeman, gk, Gordon Brown, Bambi, Anne and who ever else would like to witness the community coming together for the benefit of all!
I would sure like to meet gk!

You don't necessarily need to sit beside each other at the negotiating table but you both need to sit at the table.

| Thanks Gene. Your acceptance means alot to me. I know I have let my personal convictions get in the way of meaningful dialog and you are correct this has to stop. It is not getting you nor I anywhere. Although we may have different opinions, we both have the communities best interests at heart, even though we have different ideas on what is best and how to get there.

absolutely!
I think that we may both be very firm in our convictions and not afraid to say what we feel.
BTW, I do have respect for you because you have attempted to make ammends for our mutaul mistakes. I think that we both are resposible for our misunderstandings and accusations and this has to stop. I appologize for my nasty attitude and behavior.
Thank you for your magnanimous gesture......and I mean that sincerely.
We want the best for our area and we may have different views, but it is vital that we communicate and work together where we can

| Gene, I want to extend my apologies to you. I am sorry for all the neagative things I have said about you and to you in the past. I am sorry about certain things I have said regarding your condition. I am sorry about all the vile things that flew from my finger tips when replying to you, your posts and your responses. I am asking that we be able to interact with one another about topics (even though we may not agree) with respect to one anothers opinion. Would you be willing to accept my public (as much as it is here) aplogy and meet me half way with this?
