Couldn't go outside to barbeque, work with horses, conduct my business, or entertain family and friends because my neighbors viewed their rights to pollute with noise more significant than my right to enjoy peace. Before the noise ordinance there was absolutely nothing anyone could do to stop him.

If you're looking to blame someone for the noise ordinance, pick me! And when you have a neighbor that is rude and rowdy night after night, and the Sheriff's office can come and cite them, you can thank me, too.

No more on this subject JJ, please.

So where was my error?  I still do not see what I said is wrong.  You accused me of not having my facts straight and I want to correct the record if I am wrong.  Knowing that Ed has a documented history with respects to the STF's mess I can't believe that he was selected as a leader in this organization.  One of 2 things is happening.  Either this group is just a reconstituted BLC and is going to perpetuate the BLC agenda or the people involved have a complete lack of judgment which will lead it down the road to ruin.

Dear Starleen:

SRP approached all effected municipalities, and GSTAC, with their plans to place these power plants as a courtesy and as part of the public input phase of adoption. GSTAC is recognized by counties, cities, utilities and other organizations, to represent the interests of our large unannexed population.

GSTAC provides citizens interested in planning and zoning the ability to participate in the public process without the expense of a new city or annexation into an existing city (though these options may be explored by GSTAC).

GSTAC is also facilitating a meeting between the residents of Pecan Creek and Johnson Utilities to discuss the recent problems they've been experiencing with sewage spills.

GSTAC is here to serve our 46,000 residents who do not live in a city or town. For more information, please visit ourGSTAC.com. To have your voice heard please register there, or, contact your District Representative. **Complete list of Representatives to follow.

Regards,

Anne

GSTAC was approached by SRP? Clarification of this would be interesting.

Come on folks.  Please correct the record and tell me where I am wrong.  I will immediately change the post if there is an error or some wording needs revised.

What a cop-out.  The agenda here is obvious to me.  I would no more participate with this group than I would be a professional wrestler.  Both are fantasy and the outcomes are planned in advance.  Giving the group any level of attention will only give it influence and credence.  I would never be a party to that.

Dear JJ:

I've got good news and bad news.

The bad news is: your recollection of historical facts is once again way off base and I have more important things to do than to recount the whole STF story. I've posted the truth on these blogs so if you're interested, feel free to research and edit your statements.

The good news is: Ed's appointment is temporary so you are cordially invited to run for the Supervisor seat in the near future. I'm sure you'll show us all just how it should be done.

Regards,

Anne

Actually I am not.  He is the husband of Kristen.  They are the ones that called the Sheriff's office about the San Tan Flats noise issues.  He and his wife got your BLC into action to get the county to enact the noise ordinance.  When that proved to not be enough they devised, with the help of the BLCers, to pursue the crazy dance hall issue.  It was because of these 2 people that we became a national joke.  After that humiliating defeat I am suprised that he would even want to show his head in public.

He has already cost me too much money.  He should not be in any position of decision making due to his track record.  NO THANKS.

If anything I have stated is incorrect then please let me know and I will edit.  These are the facts as I know them.

What a joke. They have put Ed Guerra in charge.  He is one of the reasons we are in the position we see ourselves in today.  Ed is the spearhead of the STF fiasco.

Dear Residents of District One:

Greater San Tan Area Coalition (see ourGSTAC.com) held it's first meeting of the Extended Visioning Committee Saturday morning. If you haven't yet visited the above referenced website, please do so for a comprehensive overview of our mission and organizational structure.

In the near future, this website will become the nucleus of our Districts communication network. GSTAC's webmaster is working on updating the site to provide interactive features that should assist us greatly in our quest to address the problems facing our District and our region and serve as a easy-access vehicle to compile citizen sentiment on important issues.

Ed Guerra and I have been appointed as temporary Representatives for the Whitewing, Bonanza Ranch, and Goldmine Equestrian Estates subdivisions and for the large lot rurals. Elections for permanent representatives will be scheduled in the near future so if you are interested please get involved.

Also in attendance at todays' meeting were Char Wester and Bob Dotson who will be serving as standing committee chairs for District One. We seek additional neighborhood leaders and activists to assist us in this grass roots effort to effectively confront our mutual concerns and plan for the future of this area. With your input and assistance, our combined energies can be directed toward bringing meaningful solutions for our neighborhoods, our district, and, our region.

One of the first issues we will need to address is the placement of several back up power plants slated for development in Pinal County. One of these plants is to be located in our area near Magma Dam. GSTAC was approached by SRP and in the near future, a presentation will be made to concerned citizens for comment and questions. I will provide those who've requested to be on District One's mailing list with further details when times, dates and locations are finalized.

I can't remember who said it, but, (paraphrased), "Democracy insures those who vote an opportunity to have a say in their future. Those who don't vote, have no say." Your opinion matters! Your problems matter! Let's grip this opportunity firmly, lets have our say and create a future of our own design. Visit the ourGSTAC.com website, get involved, and, make a difference in the San Tan Area...

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions regarding GSTAC that are not addressed on the website. If I don't have the answer, I will find out and notify you. Also, please give the ourGSTAC.com link to any friends or neighbors who wish to be included on my email tree and kept in the loop about matters affecting us and our families.

Also, GSTAC will be making a presentation at the Community Unity Event scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 7-11PM. Interested parties may register on site. See details under Community News/Pinal County Public Issues Forum.

Kind Regards,

Anne Reed
