It was great here in San Tan Heights.
We passed out about 40 lbs of candy to the kids that were trick or treating. We ran lights and sirens pulling up next to the kids and asked them for their trick of treat license. At first some were confused but after they left with a bunch of candy they were happy.
THe feedback I got back the parents all seemed to enjoy it also. Next year Bambi you can ride in the back of my patrol car, but you have to wear a striped black and white.

Let me say thanks, congratulations and that I will be getting a tax cut. Also, they are more than welcome to take my taxes and help those less fortunate than me. I would much rather do that than further line the pockets of those that are more fortunate than me.

I can only dream of making that much money...
Yet, once Obama lets the Bush tax cuts (for ALL income levels) expire, we will all be paying more in taxes even after Obama's wealth re-distribution...

Obama's tax policies are sharply redistributionist and a very bad idea. The wealthy are the source of most investment capital in the country. Obama would reduce the pool of it and discourage its deployment by reducing the after-tax return on investment.

fortune is winning the lottery, or being born into wealth. a great deal of us that will pay more in taxes under an Obama presidency than we would under McCain are not so much fortunate as we are industrious. and it isn't $250k, it may already be as low as $150k. (Biden said $90k recently) a sliding scale to be sure.
bottom line is that you had the same opportunities as i did for education and to succeed... most everyone did. my family is NOT rich and our taxable income is considerably less than $250k... YET, according to calc's on Obama site and Tax Policy site... we are looking at around $1600 more under Obama than McCain... and that is only in year 1. based on McCains doubling of the child tax credit/deduction from $3500 to $7000 (immediately for families with $50k or less per year income, and phased in for those of us with family incomes greater than $50k) the delta will be higher in years 2, 3, and 4
