starliott, I will debate toll roads with you. #1 there will always be another way to get where you are going on a publically funded road. #2 A privately funded project uses private money, not yours. #3 noone is forcing you to use a toll road. #4 Construction on a privately funded roadway can get don in about 1/5th the time so folks that want to use it can and much sooner than a publically funded road. #5 YOU and I pay for publically funded roadways whether we use them or not. I agree there is no way 80,000 it is exagerated so Bryan can get his bigger Board of Supervisors. I have to Agree for once with Pete Rios it is a power grab.
Intended to turn your area into wal-mart world complete with toll roads and miles of strip malls with Payday Loans as the anchor store!

i can see the ads now.

According to a 3 yr old East Valley Tribune article quote that shows what Elliott Fisher has done for his own community. I wonder how many more lawsuits and how much more money he has cost the community since 2005?
The Apache Junction City Attorney’s Office estimated last year that the spate of lawsuits Fisher has filed over the years has cost Apache Junction nearly $70,000. (NOW Much Higher!)
Fisher says filing lawsuits is the only way he can fight back.

After four failed mayoral campaigns, (NOW 5 or 6) and countless initiative drives, Elliott Fisher crashed back into the public eye last week. Apache Junction police nabbed the 42-year-old [highlight= rgb(255, 255, 136);]gadfly on July 21 after an altercation with a woman house-sitting for him and a car crash in which he collided with a motorcycle.
Fisher, a nurse and longtime political activist, was arrested on suspicion of making harassing phone calls, trespassing and for an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
Fisher’s legal entanglement began when he went to visit Krysta Agerone, an Apache Junction woman, to confront her about money she owed him and to tell her to clean up the home where she was staying, which belongs to Fisher’s sister.
Agerone told police that Fisher harassed her over the phone, came to the residence and then forced his way in while swearing and screaming at her.
When Fisher saw that Agerone had called police, he took off in a 1980 Chevrolet pickup, according to police reports. About 30 minutes later, witnesses said they saw Fisher turn left into a motorcycle driven by Troy Dickerson, also of Apache Junction.
Two witnesses told police that Fisher struck Dickerson’s Harley-Davidson, and one of them noted that Dickerson “flew about 6 feet in the air, landing on his hand and head.” Dickerson was taken to the hospital for leg pain, but was later released.
The warrant for Fisher’s arrest was issued because he missed a court date in April over allegations that he had rented rooms without a business license. He claimed many people rent rooms without a license and accused the city of picking on him.
Fisher admitted the dispute with Agerone and that he was involved in the vehicle crash, but said the criminal charges are part of a larger conspiracy against him. He said the city is retaliating against him because of his outspoken criticism of government.
“I’m a political problem for them, and there’s an election coming,” he said. “They’re trying to get me out of the way.”
Fisher has campaigned for various city and county government offices. He lost a bid for mayor in 2004 to Doug Coleman. Later that year, he received only 4 percent of the vote when he ran for Pinal County supervisor.
Nonetheless, he’s been a regular at City Council meetings for years.
“Apache Junction and I have a long history,” he said.
Part of the problem, Fisher claims, is that one of the witnesses to his pickupmotorcycle collision was City Councilman Joseph Severs. Fisher said he thinks Severs is part of the conspiracy against him.
But Severs, who said he was riding a motorcycle behind Dickerson when the collision occurred, said he wished he hadn’t witnessed the crash — and now he’d probably get sued over it.
“I find it really strange that anything that happens to him is a conspiracy,” Severs said. “I just witnessed an accident. Being part of a conspiracy is absolutely absurd.”

He could not have lost his license then and there, as he was a contracted employee. The facility would not have had the right to revoke his license--all they could do was report the activity to his actual employer. Whether or not that happened, I do not know. I do know that the nurses on staff told my aunt they would make sure the agency did not send him back to the facility again.
It would have been up to his actual employer to act upon any allegations that may have been expressed by the facility. I do not know what happened after he was removed from the facility, so I cannot speak to that.

Here here 14freedom! I am a San Tan Valley resident that is an Apache Junction native. Mr. Fisher has ran and failed in every political race he's entered since I was 15 years old. I've seen him do nothing for the community except cost it money because of excessive litigation.

I think the Webmaster only responds to complaints, and can't police every comment.
And I think the AJ forum attendees are so used to the rants of EF that they don't complain anymore. They ignore him. And perhaps that's why EF has migrated to the Pinal County forum, where he can throw gas on fires for no good reason other than to get attention.

LOL ny. noone asked him to comment on anyones medical situation. JulieB asked if he was a hospice nurse in Illinois. What Julie wrote was a factual experience of hers and her families. It was wrong of the webmaster to kick her off.
You are absolutely correct though that we should just ignore him. But sometimes it is hard to ignore ignorance. Plus he highjacks important threads......... starts so many insane posts that when one wants to respond to a post they have to go down half the page to find the important issues and get through his crap.
I will take your suggestion and IGNORE.... until he talks bad about someone, then I am going to report him and keep reporting until they kick him off

| I can't believe I'm going to actually defend this guy, but he can't comment on anyones medical situation due to some serious privacy issues. And the surest way to keep him commenting is to respond to him. So let's just completely ignore some of the crazy issues he brings up. Who cares---if he is as big a loser as everyone thinks why have anything to do with him?

Move on.................... are you freaking kidding me. She had to endure the emotional trauma of going through what she did with him, then move thousands of miles away to start over only to run into that goofball here.
How dare you to say she must move on. Lied about him....... and just how in the hell would you know it's a lie...............oh you must be mrs flygad.................. if you are, you should be soooooooooooooooooooo proud of him.
I am going to watch him carefully. Everythime he shoots his mouth off like he does and calls people names, defames someone, as he does in all his posts. I am going to report him to the webmaster and will continue to do so until he is gone.

First off, it wasn't a lie.
Secondly, it was not told in a nasty fashion nor did I use nasty words. The only part that could have been remotely considered nasty was at the very end where I sited my opinion of his actions. Otherwise, the entire posting was simply an account of the facts that occurred that evening. Are you not using malicious slander against me by accusing me of lying when I am not?
Thirdly, if I'm lying . . . what exactly am I "moving on from"? If the incident didn't occur I'd have nothing to "go see a shrink for", correct?
