This has been in front of the AZ Legislation for months (years!!) it isn't a rumor. It isn't a conpiracy or anything either....calm down....it has been VERY public for a long time, you just have to....pay attention  ;)

Elliott Fisher.......NOIf the majority of the qualifi ed electors voting on the question vote in the affirmative, the board of supervisors shall redistrict the county in accordance with the provisions of section 11-212. The county shall thereafter elect the prescribed number of members to the board of supervisors who shall have the same qualifications as provided in subsection A for a board of supervisors with a population of two hundred thousand or more persons, and shall hold office for a term of four years to commence on January 1.
