New Queen Creek Library Project
Saturday, Nov. 8 will mark an historic day for Queen Creek with the grand opening of the new Queen Creek Library. Residents are invited to join the celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library site. A free Park & Ride will be available from Queen Creek Marketplace (southwest corner of Rittenhouse and Ellsworth Loop roads).
The new library, located at the northwest corner of Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads, is designed to provide a gathering place for people of all ages. It includes the Mary Lou Fulton Children's Center, a Teen Oasis, general reading areas, public computers, study rooms, conference rooms and Town recreation programming space. The library is a partnership between the Town of Queen Creek and the Maricopa County Library District.

Library Construction
After several months in design, the Town of Queen Creek began construction on a new library to host the Queen Creek branch library of the Maricopa County Library District. The Town broke ground on the new library on May 23, 2007. To view monthly status updates and see aerial photos of the project, visit Core Construction's project Web page.
