So I finally tired of my $140 Cox cable/internet/phone bill enough to call them up and tell them I wanted to seriously pare back the bundle. They gave me a 10% discount just for threatening to drop cable and cut back the other two services. Two different reps offered me the same 10% discount...just thought this little tip might come in handy to anyone else who wants to shave down their cable bill today.
I may still drop cable anyway...it's a waste of braincells, except for sports center.
