i have spoken with at least one person who didn't do a good job at planning ahead (getting themselves on permanent early ballot list) and now finds they will be out of Town for Tuesday Nov. 4th election.  so, how to vote... go to one of the Early Voting sites...

List of early-voting sites

Unless otherwise noted, all sites listed below are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday is the last day for early walk-up voting.

Central/South Valley

• Maricopa County Elections Department (downtown), 111 S. Third Ave. or 510 S. Third Ave., Phoenix. 

• South Mountain Community Center, 212 E. Alta Vista Road, Phoenix.

East Valley

• Maricopa County Elections Department (Mesa), 222 E. Javelina Drive.

• Tempe Public Library, 3500 S. Rural Road. (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.)

West Valley

• Avondale City Hall, 11465 W. Civic Center Drive, Suite 200. (7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Last day for early voting is today.)

• Glendale Adult Center, 5970 W. Brown St.

• Peoria City Hall Annex Building, 8314 W. Cinnabar Ave. (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

• Wickenburg Town Clerk's Office, 155 N. Tegner St., #A.

(Regional site for voters within a 25-mile radius of Wickenburg).

Northeast Valley

• Scottsdale City Hall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd. (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
