I'm with you, Bill. Food is consistently good. Friendly atsomphere. Reasonable prices. Local color.

It seems to me that everything that opens in QC is just *way* *way* too expensive. It's ABOUT TIME someone opens in QC that isn't out to *RAPE* our wallets.
Theres a reason for that. The cost to do business with the town and super high rents. Add to that extra taxes tacked on to enhance revenue. It adds up and hurts the consumers wallet.

Not trying to put anyone down, but Gecko's, to me, wasn't really good Mexican food. It tasted like a fancy Taco Bell. Filiberto's may not be the best and is sometimes a little greasy, but it fills the need of this guy. I think you could put a Fili's almost anywhere and it would be successful.

| Jim's Burritos are really good. Up Ocotillo past the high school and on the north side of the road.

I think like with most things you get what you pay for. Comparing a Gecko burrito to a Filiberto's is sort of like comparing a Fuddrucker's to a Whopper. We miss Cravings.

Anyone notice the new Filibertos on the northeast corner of Ellsworth and Ocotillo? It took over the space of the old failed Cravings Gecko Grill restaurant.
I'm not a huge fan but at least we can buy a decent burrito for $3-$4 instead of the crazy, outrageous, high prices of $6-$8 at Gecko grill. No wonder it failed.
