North Scottsdale children have an opportunity to have their speech and hearing tested this week.
Listening Ears will offer free hearing and speech screenings for individuals up to 18 years old 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 17 at its North Scottsdale office, 8422 E. Shea Blvd.
“Good hearing is essential in the development of efficient neurological pathways for speech, language and literacy skills,” speech-language pathologist Lynn Carahaly stated in a press release. “Many people would be surprised by the number of vital functions the inner ear and hearing systems actually affect.”
