| May you burn in hell for all the meanness you display. Don't forget you're getting close to meeting your maker. You might try being nice for a change.

I agree ,but how do you get rid of her?????
I argued with her when they turned the (eating places over ) and that did not work out,as you well know.... I assume (being in business for 50 years myself) that she thanks she should cme up with a new idea every time she opens her mouth. She is usually wrong...

We bowlers have been trying to get through to the powers that be ,for along time . Problem being ,they do not listen very good, the lower paid on the scale listen but their bosses don't hear very good at times ,most if not all times... The big bosses can come up with hair brained skeems to spend money, mostley on foolishness. Thanks for the thoughts and concern.

I noticed in the June Sun Views that bowling contributed a positive net of more than $20,000 in the 1st quarter. Looks like bowling subsidizes more than just pool and shuffleboard! Sure would be nice if that money was put back into bowling upgrades rather than thrown into the pot to be used by others.

| SORRY ABOUT delay in answerig, but you are right the bowling allys (both) need revamping they make money and pay all expenses for the free shufulboard and pool tables, these 2 amenaties we need but the bowling revenues should not pay the price for there upkeep

| RetSgt hit the nail on the head: nobody on the the board bowls, but several are lawn bowlers. No wonder the lawn bowlers got a very nice clubhouse a few years ago and now are getting another $11,000. It's who you know!

You're right on the mark RetSgt! I enjoy both golf and bowling. It has grown steadily more frustrating at Lakeview with lane conditions deteriorating and machine breakdowns. Bowling during the summertime is a great way to escape the heat and meet up with friends.
You can't beat the low price for lineage but it seems that you have to work so hard at constantly picking up the corner pins. Bowlers have been asking for replacement of the kickboards for years. We've heard the excuse that the Sundial roof and Fairway construction have priority. We will lose bowlers, leagues and tournaments if something isn't done soon.
This month I believe $435,000 is being spent to cement the creek on the golf course which isn't a benefit to golfers but does save money for all of us on water loss. It was also discussed that nearly $11,000 was being spent on lawn bowling improvements. Bowlers? We get $1500 to polish our lanes.

| Well since they received a whopping settlement I would think you are correct and they should pay more attention to that amenity provided by we the paying community. Go getem tiger.

Regarding the March 26th RCSC Board meeting, I’m glad that the bowlers are finally starting to speak up. They have been getting the short end of the stick from the RCSC for years. We need to take steps to bring in new bowlers and retain those bowlers that on average bowl two to four times a week.
The lanes at Lakeview are over 20 years old and have had millions of games bowled on them. They’re worn out and need replacing. INSTEAD, they’re getting a sand job (polishing) which is just a stop gap measure. The kickbacks are completely worn out and even have holes in them. They should be replaced at the same time as the “polishing”. This could be done at a fraction of the cost they are spending at the golf courses. Since bowling actually generates revenue, one would think the RCSC would pay it a little more attention to their condition.
It is understandable why bowling is such a low priority. No one on the RCSC Board bowls or really has an interest in bowling.
