I normally would not waste my time blogging about a small town dispute that just so happened to reach the court. In fact, this is a first for me. However, some things just need to be said for the trivial times that the lovely town of Camden is facing. Let us not forget a worthy police officer of the town who has fought to maintain his deserved status.
Every ordinary citizen recognizes and understands what makes an honorable police officer. Just in case some of these ordinary citizens have forgotten or have decided to change the definition of honorable, I am here to provide some newfound clarity.
An honorable police officer has an untarnished reputation. A reputation that consists of sexual relations with a co-worker after having sworn under God, in a church, to love and honor another until death does the parting--dishonorable. A reputation consistent with aggressiveness toward a wife and or other counterparts, perhaps in a social setting--dishonorable. Not having respect for others, especially respect for the spouse and choosing to be unethical even after having obtained law enforcement status--dishonorable.
An honorable police officer does not create a blog in the first place out of innocence. He or she also does not claim to have the best lawyer if innocent. Just because it is written does not mean it is a fact.
Regardless of ones spiritual beliefs, I find it important to communicate this message. God (or whomever) does not dismiss police officers from sin. So while it seems pretty cool to get away with the "issue" at hand, I guess only time will tell whether or not our small-town cop from Camden really won his case.
I do hope everyone has understood my message. All of the honorable and worthy police officers, thank you.
Gracias.

| Isn't it lovely how this supposed victim's family was not there to support her. That's because she is an absolute joke. Fellow officer's beware of this girl and her friends they just might try to make up crap about you.

Absolutely loved those idiots fumbling over their words. Those girls were so freaking stupid. Not single witness could get their stories to match. LOL.
By the way, hard to convict somebody of something when it didn't even happen!! You people who keep posting crap in the middle of the night must not have a life. Either that, or your just jealous.

Oh yeah your referring to that police officer who arrested a man and than punched him 7 times in the back of the head... yeah your right about that one! Such a shame.
No, I believe he is referring to your friend. Tomorrow is his big day right?

WHAT DOES MONEY HAVE TO DO WITH IT? NO ONE PAID THOSE CLOWNS TO GO IN THERE AND MAKE FOOLS OF THEMSELVES, THEY DID THAT ON THEIR OWN. DON'T YOU THINK IF YOU WERE GOING TO A TRAIL BOARD TO BE CROSS EXAMINED, YOU WOULD ACT PROFESSIONAL AND AT LEAST GET YOUR SUPPOSED STORY STRAIGHT?
BEST LAWYER IN THE STATE... $5,000.
NEW SUIT AND TIE... $500.
WATCHING CLOWNS MAKE FOOLS OF THEMSELVES... PRICELESS!!!

| What's real sad is that the officer's family turned the thing into a three ring circus. I suppose it is true in this town, money can buy anything. It's easier to yell conspiracy than to own up to one's mistakes. Real mature!!!

It's fine for your concern but you don't know anything and the town is full of jealous ppl and jealous cops...
KNOW YOUR FACTS, THOSE WHO WENT UNDER OATH AND TESTIFIED COULDN'T EVEN KEEP THE SAME STORY, IT'S SUCH A JOKE... AND I DO IN FACT KNOW, AND THAT'S WHY I'M GETTING ANNOYED WITH THOSE PPL WHO FEEL IT'S OK TO PASS JUDGMENT ON OTHERS JUST BC OF WHAT THEY HEAR FROM THE RUMORMILL WHEN IN FACT YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING.

YEAH WELL WHO HAS THE LAST LAUGH NOW! Well if someone wanted to make this a big deal and have other ppl involved and go under oath they should at least have the same story... and in fact if it did actually happen then why can't they all get their story straight, their all over the place and don't match up. Sounds like a SET UP to me... it's sad that all this happens because ppl get jealous and can't achieve anything on their own...
OATH: a solemn appeal to a deity, or to some revered person or thing, to witness one's determination to speak the truth, to keep a promise, etc.: to testify upon oath.

Why should anyone believe what you say is true? Its not a rumor when what was actually talked about turns out to be a fact. He will have his day in court but to expect people not to talk about a police officer charged with offensively touching a female is ridiculous! And fyi, if hes found not guilty ithat does not mean it didnt happen.

I do not feel that my post was gossip, more of a concern for the people of Camden.
If it becomes clear that a police officer has a tendency to be violent towards
women, I believe that officer is unfit to serve.

My question regarding the Camden police officer's involvement in a recent incident at Smithers seems to have been removed from this forum.
I seem to have struck a nerve.
If the webmaster has removed my post, I would like an explanation. I do not
believe my posting was improper.

| I'm annoyed with people who think they know everything because they hear RUMORS, so you know NOTHING actually... just because he was charged with something doesn't mean he's GUILTY... you people have no lives but to sit on the computer and complain and gossip about what you hear. YOU KNOW NOTHING.

Maybe it's just me but why would there be a traffic light there? It's only about a hundred yards away from the light currently at the Rts 13/10 intersection.
As far as a light at Caboose Rd, I never use that little side street if I'm headed north, it's just a pain to try to cross. I go up to the light and make my left turn there. Even if it means waiting for a few, I know it will turn green eventually!

| And I will bet no one at the State questioned it in their response. When the road goes all the way through to the highway, where will the kids going to school in the morning or going home at the end of the day?

Allan,
Line 38 of the permit/application asks if this project will increase traffic. The reply was "No". I guess this means they don't expect any additional traffic going to their stores. If they are building a strip mall, I would expect to see a "yes" answer to the traffic question.

I will be either in a wheel chair or cold in my grave by the time that area

And I don't think we need another light, especially just north of the Camden light. He can put the Starbucks near CR, that is great. And by all means Z, bulldoze the trailer park on your land. But no entrance/light on Rte. 13. It isn't needed.

Now Native, that's not fair - Zimmerman has every right to wash his hands off of the City of Dover - all the troubles they have put him through when he is the only one trying to do something for the city. Downtown is a joke and they can "create" as many economic development corps they want - they won't get anything done without Zimmerman and they've chased him off.
It is a crying shame - they have cut their noses off to spite their faces and they will wish they had been a little easier to work with. City of Dover is a joke and they know it.
If Zimmerman comes south I welcome him.

Here is what I am going to do. Instead of trying to put a picture of CR PLAZA II on here, I will put the link to the PLUS Application. It is all of the information that is available for the project.
http://stateplanning.delaware.gov/plus/projects/2008/2008-02-04.pdf
If you go to the following link, you will also see the list and the State comments. Find the application for the 2008-02-04 (CR PLAZA II).

| That would be truth. Mr Fifer was trying to get it done. Mr. Zimmerman will. Another traffic signal on Rt 13. I wonder how that will affect the traffic that already backs up from the RiteAid to Rodney Village?

The rumor : Mr. Zimmerman, Dover builder, is expanding to Camden. The former Burke equipment site and the Lone Star park have been purchased by Mr Zimmerman. The intent is to cut Old North Road through to 13 and includes a strip mall being built on the property. If rumor is true , will Caboose Road be closed ? Never did get the promised traffic light requested over a year ago. Perhaps the Camden citizens do not have the political/financial clout of Mr. Zimmerman. If the questionable road cuts through, what will happen to the intersection of Rt.10 and 13? Perhaps the property will stay vacant..... How long has the Loockerman property been vacant waiting for the magnificent edifice to be built ?
